Promoting the pragmatic development of cooperation between China and Hungary in various fields

The consular district of the Consulate General of Hungary in Chongqing covers five provinces and one city including Chongqing city, Sichuan province, Yunnan province, Guizhou province, Gansu province and Shaanxi province.

Chongqing, the location of the Consulate General, is a strategic location of the Bohai Bay Economic Circle, the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle and the Pearl River Delta Economic Circle. It is well-known of its global transportation network, strong infrastructure construction and strong basic industrial strength. Chongqing has become the fourth most important economic area in China.  It is also the target areas for European companies, including Hungarian companies, to connect to the central and western regions of China, to establish long-term cooperative relations with China.

The Consulate General of Hungary will focus on developing in the areas of trade, tourism, culture and education between Hungary and Chongqing and its surrounding areas, to establish a mutual beneficial cooperation. The Consulate General will also provide visa service for both Chinese and Hungarians citizens, and consular services for Hungarian nationals.
