Announcement by the Chinese Embassy in Hungary about requirements for certified Health Declaration Form before boarding China-bound airlines in Hungary

I.Effective on 7th September, 2020, all passengers whose origin is Hungary and ultimate destination is China are required to take nucleic acid PCR tests in Hungary for COVID-19 within 3 days before boarding.

Transit passengers whose origin is not Hungary should complete the PCR test and verification procedure in the Chinese Embassies or Consulate Generals in their origin nations.

II.Test institutions designated by the Chinese Embassy in Hungary can be found in Attachment 1.

After getting the test report, please fill in and sign the Health Declaration Form in Attachment 2.

Please send a scanned copy of the Health Declaration Form together with the PCR test report, and a photocopy of the information page of the passport to the Chinese Embassy in Hungary at: COVIDPCRHUN@gmail.com.

III.The Chinese Embassy in Hungary will verify the Health Declaration Form with a validity period of 3 days starting from the date of issuance of the PCR test report, and send back to the passengers through email.

IV.Passengers shall be required to present the printed-out certified Health Declaration Form during check-in or before boarding the flight and cooperate with airlines staff during the inspection.

Passengers with invalid or expired Health Declaration Form will not be allowed to board the plane.

Transiting via other countries may also follow the above procedures for Health Declaration Form. Please check real-time nation list at https://hr.cs.mfa.gov.cn/help_two/help-two/gj.htmland make sure the Health Declaration Form is valid when transit.

Passengers are advised to bring the PCR test report to the airport in case of the need for further inspection.

V. Passengers who provide false certificates or information shall bear corresponding legal liabilities.
