On March 30, with the takeoff of Air Moldova flight F58820, it marked that the regular cargo route between "Zhengzhou⇌Budapest" was officially increased to 5 flights a week on the basis of the original 3 flights a week.
In October 2020, Zhengzhou Airport took the lead in opening the country's first direct regular freight route between "Zhengzhou⇌Budapest" to Hungary, efficiently transported more than 600 tons of anti-epidemic materials for the Hungarian people. Initially flying every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the newly-added flight model is B747-400F, with a maximum load of 105 tons, and the flight schedule is Tuesday and Thursday.
It is understood that, in addition to the continuous delivery of materials needed for Hungary's epidemic prevention, encrypted flights have also delivered many cross-border e-commerce goods and daily necessities. Hungary, as the first European country to confirm its participation in the “Belt and Road” initiative, starting from the capital Budapest, can realize the rapid distribution of global logistics in Central and Eastern Europe and even Europe. Henan is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, with Zhengzhou as the core. The two-hour air circle covers more than 90% of China’s population and market, and the two-hour high-speed rail circle covers the lives and consumption of 400 million people. It is an important link between China’s east and west, and the connection between north and south. The transportation hub can realize the rapid collection and distribution of domestic and neighboring countries' goods.
The encryption of "Zhengzhou⇌Budapest" regular cargo routes is an effective supplement to the development of the dual air cargo hub strategy of the two places. It will promote the upgrade of the industrial chain and supply chain and further promote the construction of the "Air Silk Road" China-Hungary Air Cargo Hub project. It has become an important bridge and link for the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
